The Provider Services Call Center Specialist is a key member of the client's Member and Provider Services call center team. Provider Services Call Center Specialists receive calls and inquiries from the state's Medicaid healthcare providers and performs appropriate follow up actions that include assisting providers with questions regarding payment of claims, member eligibility, claim denials, resolving billing issues, prior authorizations and referrals using multiple resource directories and a computerized system for tracking, information gathering and/or troubleshooting. Technical and Behavioral Skills: * Ability to receive and/or make telephone calls to respond to MaineCare inquiries and concerns * Ability to understand and follow procedural guidelines to respond to and/or research questions * Ability to perform data entry to log and track inquiries for reporting purposes * Ability to work in a fast paced environment Strong Customer Service Skills * Ability to assist with all clerical duties associated with tracking, logging and reporting of calls and tasks * Ability to read and interpret moderately complex documents such as user guides, government policy manuals, billing instructions, desk level procedures and resource guides * Excellent communication skills.Please respond to Mark Gorham at mgorham@tcml.com or by phone at 800-617-6172 x4440 and reference job # 09-04144.
